Wondering what to bring to Thanksgiving dinner? Give ’em the bird…

And here is a delicious Thanksgiving drink recipe: Open mouth, pour in Whiskey… Just kidding, try this one:

Cranberry Spritzer
2 oz whiskey
1 oz cranberry juice cocktail
 Club soda to fill
Lime wedge garnish

Here is a drink to enjoy tonight while you pass out candy to Trick-or-Treaters.

Witches’ Brew
1.5 to 2 oz Irish Whiskey
4 oz spiced red wine (warm)
strip of lemon peel

Pre-warm a mug with hot water. (Throw the water out once your mug is warmed.) Add whiskey and lemon. Fill with the warm spiced wine. Garnish with the citrus!

I’ve pre-ordered a copy of Whiskey Women: The Untold Story of How Women Saved Bourbon, Scotch, and Irish Whiskey from Amazon. It looks really interesting, and it features my favorite subjects… Scotch, Bourbon, and Irish Whiskey.
